This unit will take your 12V power from your charging system only and only turn on when big motor is running, once your cranking battery has reached 85% charge.
If you completely run your battery down to 0%, there is a chance that your BMS (Battery management system) will fall asleep. This issue is easily corrected.
My battery will not take a charge and is showing 0% SOC (state of charge) on the app.
- Remove the load from your battery pack by turning the perko switch to the off position.
- Connect charger and turn on.
- Connect jumper cables from a working 12v or 16v battery to your battery showing 0% for 2 seconds. Positive terminal to positive terminal, negative terminal to negative terminal.
- Remove jumper cables
- Fully charge battery before next use
Alternate steps
- Remove the load from your battery pack by turning the perko switch to the off position.
- Connect charger and turn on.
- Connect portable battery jumper box to the dead battery and turn on for 2 seconds.
- Remove battery jumper box
- Fully charge battery before next use
My 12V 110AH Cranking battery will not connect to my PowerHouse Lithium app.
- For the time being, the 12V 110AH cranking battery is only compatible with the app named “Battery Monitor BM2”
My charger is showing a green and red light.
- Check PowerHouse Lithium app first, if it is showing 100% charged, this is normal.
- This is indicative of an incomplete circuit if your battery is not showing 100% charge on the app.
- Watch the lights as you grab each side of the anderson connector with one hand.
- Wiggle the anderson connector back and forth as you continue to watch these lights.
- Between your thumb and your index finger, wiggle the cord that is attached directly to the charger module.
- Check your circle eyelet connection at the battery to make sure they are secure.
- If one of these lights goes out during wiggling, you have a loose connection
